Halloween Week

Happy Halloween! This week in Language Arts because of Halloween, we wrote scary stories. Ms.Bastow and Mr. Kelly/Mr. K assigned this last week, and it was lots of fun. We have been reading them to the class, while around a "fire" in Ms. Bastow's class. In Mr. K's class they have a fog machine!

Perfect Tense

         Perfect Tense Verbs

hey This week In LA we are learning perfect tense. This is a seventh grade skill so, we are ahead of the game! Perfect tense is a verb phrase and can be past, present, or future. 
Example: Cassadee has competed for five years. has competed is present perfect because has is present

This week we have been learning about verb tenses. Some examples are; Simple verbs,Simple  Present, Simple Past and Verb phrases!! We willl have a quiz next week! wish us luck!

My Side of the Mountain

Hi, we have just started a new novel titled My Side of the Mountain. We are enjoying it a lot. Our teacher, Ms. Bastow, has given us a journal to write our thoughts about the book. For homework each night we read one or two chapters and write three dicussion questions for each chapter. If we would like to do more we can draw a picture, write down our thoughts, etc., but the discussion questions are mandatory.
